Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira is a Brazilian actress, born on May 26, 1978 at Campinas Sao Paulo. She is an actress known as the actress in Woman on Top (2000) Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira has been an integral part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime since the month of March in 2020. She is currently an analyst overseeing the Assassination Witness project as well as a core member of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement group. Her research at the GI-TOC concentrates on the assassination of people, disappearances and other forms of violence that occur in the framework of illicit economy. Research interests focus on the effects of organised crime on human and humanitarian rights as well as the laws and policies. Ana Paula has an LL.M. in cum laude (with the highest distinction) in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She also holds an LL.M. degree in Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree with a magna cumlaude distinction in Legal as well as Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a qualified lawyer, having practised at the law firm that focused on public law litigation for over four years. She has also held assisting positions at non-governmental organisations that are based within Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
