Jana Kramer gained fame as a performer, actress, and songwriter, when she was a character in the series One Tree Hill. She played Alex during three of the season's final seasons. The show featured her in a number of episodes as a new country singer, which helped her album to reach the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One from 2015 reached 10th place. The decade ended with her appearances on Dancing with the Stars, Television films, and other singles not from the album. In 2021, she released The self-doubting Voices. With help from The Top Five country hit I Got the Boy and an duet featuring Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it fared even better reaching number three on country's album chart and number ten on the Billboard 200. Beginning in September of 2016 she stayed for two months on the season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, that ended in fourth place. The same year, It's like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser, was hugely popular among adults.
